Tooth-Colored Fillings

We carefully match the color of your fillings to your natural teeth color to give you restorations that are virtually invisible. We can also replace your existing silver fillings to give you a strong, healthy and natural-looking smile. Tooth-colored fillings are made from a blend of plastic resins and silica fillers, called composite. This material has many qualities of the natural tooth structure, such as translucency and resistance to wear.

Before placing a filling, we will numb the area and prepare the tooth by removing any decay. The filling material is then placed on the tooth and bonded to the tooth structure. Tooth-colored fillings work well for most small-to-medium sized restorations and make the tooth structure resistant to fracture and the pressure of chewing.
